Community

One of PerformCare’s strengths is our connection to the communities we serve — and the people who live and work there. We’re always ready to help our members and providers. If you have questions, need advocacy assistance, or would like a speaker to come to your group or organization, just contact the representatives for your area.

Here are some of the issues we care about — issues that directly affect our members and their communities.

Education: PerformCare helps members and their families navigate the behavioral health care system through education and information sessions. Headed by the PerformCare Manager of Consumer and Family Affairs, this help is available locally to community groups.

Advocacy: Sometimes our members have pressing issues they need help with. The PerformCare Manager of Consumer and Family Affairs and the Consumer/Family Affairs Specialist are available to help members and families with advocacy.

Consumer and family involvement: We understand that our members have thoughts, opinions, and suggestions they would like us to hear. That’s why we’ve created several committees on which members can participate to address and give voice to those needs. And, as always, members can call us at any time, day or night, to talk about their questions or concerns. You can read more about the different types of committees available.
